Marks & Spencer expands Heathrow airside food store

Marks & Spencer has expanded its airside food store at Heathrow Terminal 5, nearly doubling the size of its previous pilot location. The expansion is part of a convenience growth strategy aimed at high-footfall travel hubs. The new facility includes an in-store bakery and the ‘Picky Bits’ range, offering a variety of fresh items such as salads, sushi, and protein-rich snacks to meet passenger demand for healthy pre-flight options.

In addition to the retail expansion, the company has introduced a new ‘Bake at Home’ S’mores Cookie Cup to its food range. This dessert, which features a chocolate chip cookie cup filled with ganache and topped with marshmallows and brownie, is designed to be heated in the oven and is available in M&S Foodhalls nationwide.
