Marktlink celebrates 30 years as an international M&A organization

Marktlink, an independent mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory organization, is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Founded in 1996 in Deventer, Netherlands, by entrepreneurs Koos Jager and Alfred van Wincoop, the firm has grown from a small group of advisors into a major European network.

The organization now employs over 500 people across more than 20 offices in 12 countries. Since its inception, Marktlink has been involved in approximately 1,300 transactions. The firm currently completes nearly 200 transactions annually, with roughly 30 percent of these being international in nature.

Marktlink focuses on supporting small and medium-sized entrepreneurs by providing access to strategic buyers, sellers, investors, and private equity funds across various European markets. The company maintains an entrepreneurial approach to its advisory services, aiming to assist business owners in making critical career and structural decisions.
