Markus Guentner reissues iconic In Moll album for 25th anniversary

German electronic artist and producer Markus Guentner is releasing a 25th Anniversary Edition of his landmark debut album, In Moll. The remastered reissue will be released via Black Knoll Editions on November 6, 2026.

This expanded edition features a full analogue remastering by Rafael Anton Irisarri. It also includes the track ‘In Moll 4’, a piece originally recorded for the album but omitted from the initial vinyl pressing, marking its first appearance on vinyl.

Guentner, recognized for his influence on the pop ambient subgenre and his history with the Kompakt label, has received praise from peers such as Wolfgang Voigt, who described him as one of the most important ambient artists associated with the label.
