Markus Herfert hosts webinar series on futures options

Markus Herfert is conducting a three-part webinar series titled ‘Futures Options: From the Foundations to the World Markets’. The series aims to educate traders on the complexities of futures contracts, which extend beyond traditional stock indices to include commodities such as gold, oil, wheat, and corn.

In the first installment, the focus was on the fundamental characteristics of futures contracts, including their liquidity and the ability to trade up to 23 hours a day, five days a week. This allows traders to react to market movements outside of standard US exchange hours.

The second part of the series, scheduled for October 19, 2026, will focus on European markets, specifically examining the Eurex and the DAX future. The final part of the series will cover US products.
