German State Secretaries Markus Niggemann and Raimund Haser Appointed

Markus Niggemann, a state secretary in Brandenburg’s Ministry for Economy, Energy, Climate Protection and Europe, was appointed on 24 March 2026 as the new Poland liaison for the state. Raimund Haser, previously the CDU parliamentary group’s energy, climate and nature‑conservation expert, was sworn in as a political state secretary in Baden‑Württemberg’s Transport Ministry in late May 2026.
