Markus Söder promotes school health initiatives in Bavaria
Bavarian Minister President Markus Söder, Health Minister Judith Gerlach, and Education Minister Anna Stolz visited a primary school in Munich to observe how health promotion is integrated into daily school life. The visit, which included physical activities such as workouts and dancing, serves as a precursor to the statewide Bavarian Prevention Day scheduled for October 12.
The upcoming prevention day aims to promote healthy and conscious lifestyles across the state. Following its debut in schools in 2025, this year's initiative invites all residents of Bavaria to participate. According to Minister Gerlach, nearly 400 events have already been registered across the state. The program focuses on key pillars of health, including regular physical activity, balanced nutrition, and the use of preventative screening services.
