Markus Söder to visit Zugspitze for climate research review

Bavarian Minister President Markus Söder and Environment Minister Thorsten Glauber are scheduled to visit the Zugspitze and the Schneefernerhaus environmental research station on October 14, 2026.

Accompanied by Professor Michael Krautblatter from the Technical University of Munich, the officials will inspect current research projects focused on geo-risks, climate protection, and climate adaptation.
