Markus Söder visits UAE and Qatar to secure investments

Bavarian Minister-President Markus Söder has begun a four-day visit to the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. The trip aims to strengthen international networks and secure investments, orders, and partnerships in sectors including technology, defense, and economy.

In the UAE, Söder is expected to meet with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This follows a recent meeting in Munich where an agreement was signed for 10 billion euros in investments for Bavaria. While the UAE is investing a total of 40 billion euros in Germany, Söder intends to accelerate the implementation process for the specific Bavarian agreement, focusing on future-oriented industries such as artificial intelligence and aerospace.
