Markíza’s drama series Dunaj premieres Sep 1 with its 15th season

Slovak television channel Markíza announced that the drama series Dunaj will return for its 15th season on 1 September at 20:30. Actress Jana Majeská posted a still from the upcoming episode on social media, confirming the launch date.

The new season will depict the liberation of Bratislava and the shift from the final stages of the war to the post‑war period, according to series producer Eva Twardzik. Returning characters include Leopold Kučera, played by Tomáš Maštalír, who reappears in the Kučera family villa, and plot lines will follow Clara’s (Kristína Svarinská) departure to America and the unresolved paternity question surrounding her son Adel.
