Marl announces primary school registration for 2027/28

The city of Marl has announced the registration process for primary schools for the 2027/28 school year. Information letters will be sent to legal guardians of children who will be of compulsory school age by August 1, 2027, and will be six years old by September 30, 2027.

The registration week is scheduled to take place from September 28 to October 2, 2026. Parents must register their children directly at their preferred primary school, providing a completed registration form along with a family register or birth certificate. Proof of measles vaccination is also required.

While children are entitled to a place at the primary school closest to their residence, this is subject to the capacity set by the school provider. Additionally, the Recklinghausen District Health Office will coordinate medical examinations for incoming students prior to the start of school, which is set for September 2, 2027.
