Marl, Germany burglary: thieves break windows, smash safe for cash

On June 18, 2022, unknown perpetrators broke into a single‑family house on Haselnußweg in the Sinsen district of Marl, Germany. After attempting to force several windows, they succeeded in entering through a bathroom window and searched every room of the property. The intruders located a safe, forced it open, and fled with cash.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact the hotline at 0800 2361‑111. The incident follows a prior burglary reported in May, when a woman returning to her home on Hülsbergstraße discovered a suspect on the premises and later found her house had been broken into.

The Marl police continue to investigate both cases and seek witnesses to aid in identifying the suspects.
