July speed camera checks announced in Recklinghausen, Marl and Dorsten

The municipalities of Recklinghausen, Marl and Dorsten in North Rhine‑Westphalia have published schedules for mobile speed‑camera operations in mid‑July 2026.

Recklinghausen will operate its radar vehicle from 13 to 17 July on streets such as Dorstener Straße, Feldstraße, Akkoallee and Ludwig‑Erhard‑Allee. Marl’s radar patrol will be active from 13 to 18 July on routes including Wiener Straße, Brassertstraße, Dorstener Straße and Hochstraße, with additional checks on the L522 Lipperandstraße and L798 Schulstraße. Dorsten and the surrounding Kreis Recklinghausen will focus on Gahlener Straße, Schluerweg and Spessartstraße from 13 to 19 July, while also conducting dog‑waste inspections on selected streets.

These announcements are part of a regional policy that allows municipalities to conduct speed checks wherever excessive driving is observed, with the aim of improving road safety.
