Marl sees influx of new students and tax office trainees

The city of Marl is seeing significant activity in education and professional training. On September 4, 2026, 886 new first-grade students began their schooling across 13 primary schools in the city.

Simultaneously, the Marl Tax Office (Finanzamt Marl) has welcomed 21 new trainees to bolster its workforce. Ten individuals have started a two-year vocational training program to become tax officials, while eleven others have commenced a three-year dual study program. These trainees will split their time between practical work at the tax office and theoretical instruction at the Landesfinanzschule Nordrhein-Westfalen or the Hochschule für Finanzen NRW.
