Marconi Perillo presents Goiás gubernatorial proposals in Rio Verde debate

Marconi Perillo, a candidate for the Governor of Goiás, presented his platform during a televised debate in Rio Verde. Perillo focused his proposals on healthcare, public security, and fiscal balance.

To address medical queues, Perillo proposed the ‘Vapt Vupt da Saúde’ program, which includes regionalizing medical regulation, purchasing slots in private networks, and forming partnerships with municipalities. Regarding public security, he advocated for new civil service exams to increase the police force and investments in intelligence and technology.

On fiscal matters, the candidate stated he would regularize state accounts without creating new taxes or penalizing state employees. In education, he pledged to strengthen the State University of Goiás (UEG) by restoring its budget share to 2% and proposed creating a ‘city of artificial intelligence’ to attract technological companies.
