Municipalities in Brazil implement new local policies and fiscal updates
Various municipal legislative and administrative updates are being reported across several Brazilian cities. In Apucarana, the city presented positive fiscal results for the second quadrimestre, with revenue reaching R$ 489.1 million and meeting constitutional requirements for health and education spending.
In Itu, the City Council unanimously approved a project to regulate the Industrial District, which includes allocating 5% of certain revenues to sports, leisure, and culture. Curitiba has also moved forward with new rules for school transportation, allowing for more flexible vehicle transfers between authorized providers.
