Marília conducts diversity and inclusion training for municipal staff
The City of Marília held a hybrid training session for 49 municipal employees from seven different secretariats to discuss diversity, inclusion, and humanized service. Organized by the Municipal Secretariat of Social Assistance and Citizenship (Sasc) in partnership with the Government of the State of São Paulo, the initiative aims to ensure that public services are provided with respect and dignity for all citizens.
According to Hélide Parrera, the Secretary of Social Assistance and Citizenship, the meeting helps staff better understand the diverse realities encountered in daily public service. The program marks the beginning of a new educational front for municipal professionals, focusing on improving communication and professional attitudes regarding social inclusion.
