Marília healthcare receives R$ 120 million investment for AME and hospital beds
State Deputy Dani Alonso and Federal Deputy Capitão Augusto have announced significant healthcare investments for Marília, São Paulo. The projects include the construction of the Ambulatório Médico de Especialidades (AME), which involves a state investment of nearly R$ 80 million. The facility is being built on a 26,000-square-meter site and is expected to be delivered by April 2028.
In addition to the AME, the deputies announced the allocation of R$ 14 million for equipment and the addition of 50 beds for the HC/Famema. Total health investments in Marília through these initiatives have surpassed R$ 120 million. Once operational, the AME is intended to serve 19 municipalities in the region, offering specialized services such as general and pediatric surgery, dermatology, orthopedics, and urology, as well as occupational therapy, psychology, and dentistry.
