Marlon B. reportedly killed in shooting in Jamaica

Marlon B., a former member of the German musical group Söhne Mannheims, has reportedly been killed in a shooting in Jamaica. The incident occurred on a Wednesday afternoon in Robin's Bay, located in the Saint Mary region on Jamaica's north coast.

According to local reports, an armed individual opened fire on three men at a bar after arriving in a vehicle. The victims, aged 60, 42, and 22, were pronounced dead at a hospital. The 60-year-old victim has been identified as Marlon James, also known as Marlon B., a musician and businessman. A motive for the attack has not yet been established.

Söhne Mannheims confirmed the news via Instagram, posting a black-and-white tribute that included lyrics from their 2008 hit ‘Das hat die Welt noch nicht gesehen’. The band noted that the age and name of the victim matched the reports from Jamaica. Fellow musicians and fans have expressed their condolences online, mourning his contribution to the group and his stage presence.
