Marlon Humphrey faces scrutiny after meeting Donald Trump

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey and several teammates, including kicker Tyler Loop, punter Ryan Eckley, and long snapper Nick Moore, attended an event at Tradepoint Atlantic in Sparrows Point, Maryland, featuring Donald Trump. The event focused on plans for a multi-billion dollar shipyard redevelopment involving Anduril Industries.

Humphrey faced significant social media scrutiny following the visit. While he stated to reporters that he does not have specific political beliefs and has not previously voted, critics pointed to his history of supporting Trump on social media. The interaction also drew a blunt rebuke from Ravens legend and Hall of Fame safety Ed Reed on X.

Humphrey noted that his interest in the event was driven by the economic scale of the shipyard project and his local real estate investments rather than political affiliation.
