Marlon Vera discusses mental health and coaching changes

UFC fighter Marlon Vera has addressed the mental health challenges resulting from a four-fight losing streak. The former bantamweight title challenger stated that the repeated setbacks have been deeply depressing and have led him to question his career trajectory.

Vera also detailed his decision to part ways with longtime coach Jason Parillo to join a new training team, including working with Raul Rosas Jr. He explained that the move was not due to conflict, but a proactive attempt to find what is necessary to break his losing skid and avoid future regrets regarding his professional evolution.

Vera is scheduled to face Charles Jourdain at UFC 331, where a victory could potentially return him to the bantamweight Top 15.
