Marlowe Theatre announces UK tour for ‘A Tale of Two Cities’

A Tale of Two Cities Charles Dickens stage adaptation television series UK tour

The Marlowe Theatre has announced the cast and UK tour dates for its stage production of Charles Dickens’ ‘A Tale of Two Cities’, adapted by Terence Rattigan and John Gielgud. The production will premiere at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury from September 14–19, followed by a visit to Leeds Playhouse from September 22–26.

Further tour dates are scheduled for 2027, including stops at Theatre Royal in Bath, Cheltenham Theatre, Chichester Festival Theatre, King’s Theatre Edinburgh, and Theatre Clwyd. The production is directed by Michael Fentiman and features an ensemble cast including Samuel Collings as Sydney Carton, Ed Sayer as Charles Darnay, and Jordan Loughran as Lucie Manette.
