Marmara Region offers thermal and lakeside travel routes

The Marmara Region offers a unique travel route combining thermal springs and lakeside scenery, located just a few hours from Istanbul. A popular itinerary includes Yalova and Sapanca Lake.

Yalova's Thermal district is a long-standing thermal center situated at the foothills of the Samanlı Mountains. The area features facilities with a capacity of approximately 5,000 beds, where natural spring water temperatures range between 38 and 43 degrees Celsius. Accommodation options in the region vary from historical thermal establishments to modern spa hotels, particularly in the Gökçedere neighborhood.

The second major destination on this route is Sapanca Lake in Sakarya, providing a tranquil lakeside environment for visitors.
