Marmaris authorities intensify motorcycle inspections

Law enforcement and municipal police teams in Marmaris have intensified motorcycle inspections within the Marmaris Bazaar to ensure pedestrian safety and enforce traffic regulations.

During these coordinated operations, authorities checked for license plates, helmet usage, and the use of designated pedestrian zones. Penalties were issued to riders found operating without plates, failing to wear helmets, or driving in pedestrian-only areas. In one instance, police confiscated a motorcycle from a driver found to be operating without a valid license. These measures aim to minimize risks to pedestrians during the high-traffic summer months.
