Marmaris to host 1st Eurasia Tourism Summit in 2026

Marmaris is set to host the 1st Eurasia Tourism Summit from November 20–22, 2026. Organized by the SKAL Marmaris Club, the event will focus on the theme of ‘Branding through Local Values.’

The summit aims to bring together public institutions, local governments, private sector representatives, non-governmental organizations, and tourism professionals from various destinations across Turkey. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to expand Marmaris's tourism season beyond the summer months, transforming the city into a year-round destination.

Marmaris Mayor Acar Ünlü stated that efforts are ongoing to make the city a hub for major organizations throughout the year. Emre Gezgin, President of the International SKAL Associations Federation, noted that the summit aims to facilitate knowledge and experience sharing, highlighting the strong potential of local values in tourism branding.
