Marmomac and Cersaie highlight Italian stone and ceramic industries
Major international trade fairs for the stone and ceramic industries are highlighting Italian manufacturing excellence. At the 60th edition of Marmomac in Verona, over 1,300 exhibitors from 54 countries are participating, with approximately 50,000 professionals expected from 140 nations. Italian Tourism Minister Gianmarco Mazzi noted the event's importance for 'professional tourism' and local economic development.
In the ceramics sector, the Cersaie international salon in Bologna serves as a key meeting point for architecture and design. Panariagroup is utilizing the event to showcase new collections from its brands, including Panaria Ceramica, Lea Ceramiche, and Cotto d’Este, focusing on themes of innovation, sustainability, and aesthetic research to maintain a competitive edge in international markets.
Additionally, regional manufacturing hubs like Cava de’ Tirreni are gaining visibility through the participation of companies such as CeramicheMA. VI., Cotto Vietri, and Arcea, demonstrating the ability of traditional Italian craftsmanship to integrate with contemporary architectural design requirements.
