The event serves as a major global hub for the natural stone and stone technology supply chain, with 65% of exhibitors and 70% of visitors arriving from abroad.

Brazilian company Granos is participating in the event as part of the Brazilian Pavilion to showcase its natural stone portfolio. This participation coincides with a significant rise in ornamental stone exports from the Brazilian state of Ceará. In 2025, Ceará's quartzite exports reached $77.5 million, a 178.1% increase from the previous year, with Italy serving as a primary market.

On the Italian side, the stone technology sector reported a 5.5% increase in foreign sales during the first half of 2026, totaling $1.69 billion. China remains the leading market for Italian raw stone blocks, with purchases amounting to $144.6 million.
