Marni unveils Spring/Summer 2027 collection in Milan
Meryl Rogge presented Marni’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection in Milan, marking her second show for the fashion house. The collection focused on refining the brand’s established eccentric codes rather than replacing them, opting for a negotiation with the house’s history.
Key elements of the collection included dresses made from raw calfskin with exposed seams, visible linings, and exaggerated hardware. The designs leaned toward a more industrial and brutalist aesthetic, featuring sack dresses and beaded appliqués used as found objects. The show concluded with Mariacarla Boscono wearing a black leather dress decorated with aquamarine beading.
