Maroc Telecom Beach Festival attracts 4 million spectators
The 22nd edition of the Maroc Telecom Beach Festival concluded on August 21, 2026, after attracting more than four million spectators. Held between July 20 and August 21, the festival featured 60 musical evenings across the coastal cities of M'diq, Tangier, Al Hoceima, and Saïdia.
The event showcased a diverse musical program with over 120 Moroccan and international artists performing genres including rap, hip-hop, Shaabi, Amazigh, Rai, Reggada, fusion, and oriental music. To support local talent, each evening included a performance by a regional group, allowing young artists to share the stage with established names.
Beyond music, the festival provided family-oriented entertainment, including street performances and children's villages. It also integrated national celebrations such as Throne Day and Youth Day into its schedule. On the environmental front, Maroc Telecom renewed its support for the ‘Clean Beaches 2026’ initiative, overseen by the Mohammed VI Foundation for Environmental Protection, to promote coastal preservation and responsible visitor behavior.
