Maropati reopens municipal swimming pool after ten years

The municipal swimming pool in Maropati has officially reopened following a closure of approximately ten years. The facility, which serves the Piana di Gioia Tauro area, has been placed under new management led by Francesco Lumicisi and Franco Longo.

The reopening follows a renovation process initiated during the administration of former mayor Rocco Giorgio Ciurleo. The project aimed to restore the structure to a functional state for the community, providing a venue for sports and social gathering. The inauguration ceremony included both the former and current mayors of Maropati.
