Maros River tributaries dry up in Arad County amid severe drought
A severe drought is impacting the Maros River and its surrounding regions. In Arad County, all tributaries of the Maros have dried up due to months of insufficient precipitation. The river's water flow is currently at approximately one-third of its typical volume for this period.
Measurement points across Arad County show significantly low levels. At Lippá, the flow is at 26 percent of the long-term average, while at Nagylak, it is at 32 percent.
