Marosa founder distributes 4 million euros among employees

Pedro Pestana, the founder of the Vigo-based technology company Marosa, has distributed 4 million euros among the firm's 120 employees. This decision follows the sale of the company to Wolters Kluwer, which was finalized in August 2026.

The distribution included the entire workforce, including recent hires, without requiring a minimum period of seniority. Pestana stated that sharing the proceeds from the sale is a way to recognize the contribution of the workers to the company's development.

Founded in 2016, Marosa specializes in developing technology to automate VAT management and other tax obligations for international companies.
