Marostica begins preparations for Living Chess Match

Preparations are underway in Marostica for the traditional Living Chess Match. Approximately 650 performers, including knights, ladies, musicians, and actors, have begun rehearsals to recreate a late 15th-century setting.

To accommodate the setup in Piazza Castello, local market stalls will be relocated to Pizzamano, Ponte Alpino, and Campo Marzio until September 15. The main performances are scheduled for the first two weekends of September, following a public rehearsal on September 3.
