Marosvásárhely State Philharmonic to perform in Budapest

The Marosvásárhely State Philharmonic is preparing for an international tour titled ‘The Spirit of Romania’, which includes a performance at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest on November 11.

According to organizers, including the Maros County Council and the Iunona Community Development Association, the visit aims to be more than a musical event. The tour serves as a platform for cultural and economic diplomacy. On November 10, a diplomatic event will be held at the Romanian Embassy in Budapest to showcase Maros County as an economic hub and highlight its cultural and tourism offerings.

To support this initiative, the Visit Maros Association is organizing gastronomic and tourism presentations, featuring products from local Maros County businesses. Additionally, a photography exhibition by Sándor Bereczky will be held at the embassy courtyard.
