Marquette University athletics reports recent wins in soccer and volleyball
Marquette University athletics saw recent success across its soccer and volleyball programs. The men’s soccer team, currently 5-2-1, prepared to host the Milwaukee Cup against the Milwaukee Panthers. Under head coach David Korn, the Golden Eagles have maintained a strong nonconference record, including a 6-0-2 mark in 2025, and recently received votes in the United Soccer Coaches poll.
On the volleyball court, the Golden Eagles concluded their nonconference play with a three-set sweep over the Milwaukee Panthers. The victory was led by junior outside hitter Carson Tyler and first-year player Caydence Doolan. This win followed a significant five-set comeback victory against the St. Thomas Tommies, where Tyler surpassed 1,000 career kills.
