Marquinhos Gomes releases new single “Nova Jerusalém”

Marquinhos Gomes and Samuel Messias have released “Nova Jerusalém,” the first single from Gomes’ upcoming album, “O Salmista.” The song, co-composed by both artists, focuses on themes of faith, the return of Jesus, and the promise of eternity.

Gomes noted that the song originated from personal experiences during the pandemic, a period marked by uncertainty and loss. The project “O Salmista” was inspired by spiritual experiences at Estância Paraíso in Sabará, Minas Gerais, and will be released through a series of upcoming singles.
