Marqués de Cáceres Crianza 2023 wins Rotary Club de Logroño tasting

Marqués de Cáceres Crianza 2023 has won the 34th Cata Solidaria organized by the Rotary Club de Logroño. The selection was made through a professional blind tasting held at the headquarters of the Rioja Denominación de Origen Calificada Consejo Regulador in Logroño.

A jury of industry professionals evaluated more than 30 different Rioja wines from the Crianza and Reserva categories. The winning wine is produced using Tempranillo and other varieties from small plots in Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa, aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.

The event serves a charitable purpose, with proceeds from the sale of the winning wine supporting Rotary International’s ‘End Polio Now’ program and the social and humanitarian initiatives of the Fundación Rotary Club Logroño. Cristina Forner, president of Bodegas Marqués de Cáceres, stated that the recognition combines the company’s commitment to people with the excellence of its wines.
