Marrakech library hosts poetry book signing for Nawfal al-Saidi

The Kodia Multimedia Library in Marrakech hosted a cultural event on Friday, October 23, 2026, for the presentation and signing of the new poetry collection “Liki la a’id alladhi qultuhu” (So That I Do Not Repeat What I Have Said) by poet Nawfal al-Saidi.

Published by Dar Ziryab, the collection was analyzed by researchers and critics, including Dr. Al-Arabi al-Hadrawi and Abdul Ghafour Bajdi. Discussions focused on the poet's artistic and intellectual approach, specifically his exploration of themes regarding self, existence, and language, as well as his efforts to find new forms of expression to avoid repetition.

Nawfal al-Saidi is a prominent Moroccan poet with eight previous works, including “La uridu an akbar” and “Wings of Nostalgia.” He has participated in various international cultural events and was a finalist for the Prince of Poets Award in 2017.
