Marriott expands luxury residential presence in Madrid

Marriott International is expanding its footprint in the Spanish real estate market through a new high-end residential project in central Madrid. In partnership with Impar Capital, the company will transform a historic building on Sagasta Street into 17 exclusive residences known as Palacio Residencial Sagasta, a Luxury Collection Residence.

The project involves the comprehensive rehabilitation of a property exceeding 10,000 square meters located near Plaza de Alonso Martínez. Valued at over 130 million euros, the development targets high-net-worth individuals by combining private housing with services and standards associated with Marriott’s luxury brand, The Luxury Collection.

This initiative aligns with the growing trend of branded residences, where hotel chains extend their operations beyond traditional lodging into the residential sector to offer personalized service and differentiated living experiences.
