Marriott International executives visit Rome to review Italian market

David Marriott, Chairman of the Board of Marriott International, and Neal Jones, President for Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), recently conducted a high-profile visit to Rome. The delegation visited several flagship properties, including The St. Regis Rome, W Rome, The Westin Excelsior Rome, and Courtyard Rome, to meet with hotel teams, owners, and collaborators.

During the visit, Marriott executives highlighted the company’s commitment to the Italian market and the evolving hospitality landscape in Rome. Neal Jones noted that Italy has been among the top-performing markets within the EMEA region this year. He attributed some of the momentum to events such as the Milano Cortina Winter Olympics, while emphasizing that Italy’s combination of history, culture, and diverse destinations continues to drive strong demand across the country.
