Marriott International opens two new properties in Kampala

Marriott International has launched two new brands in Uganda with the opening of the Kampala Marriott Hotel and Marriott Executive Apartments Kampala. Located in the Nsambya area, the dual-branded development is situated near Kampala’s city centre and approximately 40 kilometres from Entebbe International Airport.

The Kampala Marriott Hotel features 181 rooms and suites, including a Presidential Suite, and offers amenities such as six restaurants and bars, a spa, a fitness centre, and an outdoor heated swimming pool. The property includes 1,293 square metres of event space, with the Kampala Grand Ballroom capable of hosting up to 1,000 guests.

The Marriott Executive Apartments Kampala provides 96 fully serviced apartments, ranging from studios to three-bedroom penthouses, designed for extended stays with equipped kitchens and dedicated workspaces. This expansion brings Marriott’s total portfolio in Uganda to seven properties across five brands.
