Marriott opens Moxy Niseko Village in Japan

Marriott International has opened the Moxy Niseko Village in Hokkaido, Japan, marking the brand's fifth opening in the country. Located in the heart of the Niseko alpine region, the hotel provides ski-in and ski-out access adjacent to the Niseko Village Gondola.

The property features 310 rooms, including Loft and Twin configurations, designed with a contemporary aesthetic that incorporates Japanese craft and 'Kawaii' pop culture influences. Amenities include the Moxy Bar & Cafe, a 'Grab and Go' snack service, and a 24-hour fitness center.

Cristiano Rinaldi, Marriott International Chief Lodging Product and Services Officer for Asia Pacific excluding China, stated that the opening reflects modern travel trends where guests seek authentic and flexible experiences. The hotel is positioned to serve both winter skiers and summer visitors to the Hokkaido region.
