Marrone tiramisu café opens in London’s Soho district

Italian entrepreneur Giancarlo Fanigliulo is launching Marrone, the first café in London dedicated solely to tiramisu. The shop will open on 15 August at the former Old Spike Roastery on Sherwood Street, a short walk from Piccadilly Circus in Soho.

Marrone will serve three core flavours: a classic tiramisu made with Estate Dairy cream and dark‑roasted espresso, a DOP pistachio version using Sicilian Bronte pistachios from Mount Etna, and a dark‑chocolate tiramisu finished with Valrhona chocolate and Maldon sea‑salt. Non‑alcoholic variants of each will also be available. Opening hours are Saturdays from noon and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the menu limited to the three signature desserts.

The announcement has generated strong social‑media buzz, with Londoners expressing excitement about the new specialty venue.
