Marsala and Trapani courts rank among Italy's fastest for civil justice

The civil courts in Marsala and Trapani have achieved some of the fastest processing times in Italy during the first half of 2026. Marsala ranks second nationally with a disposition time of 153 days, trailing only Locri. Trapani ranks sixteenth in the country with a disposition time of 206 days.

Both Sicilian courts have shown significant improvement, with processing times decreasing by over 40% compared to 2019 levels. These figures are notably lower than the Italian national average, which stands at approximately 290 days. However, officials note that these statistical indicators do not necessarily represent the total duration of every individual legal case.
