Marsala hosts cultural events and security debates

The city of Marsala is hosting several local events and political discussions. The Pool Paradise venue recently held a selection for the 34th edition of ‘Miss Mamma Italiana 2027’. Winners included Stephanie Sicurella in the primary category, Marina Currò in the ‘Gold’ category, and Rosita Bastoggi in the ‘Evergreen’ category.

Additionally, the local administration is promoting ‘Biblioteca in Festa’ in the Terrenove Bambina district from September 4 to September 6. This initiative, part of the ‘Marsala Città che Legge’ program, offers extended library hours and displays historical documents regarding the local parish church.

On September 11, the Municipality of Marsala and the Lions Club Marsala will hold a ceremony at Baluardo Velasco to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. Separately, the Movimento Liberi political group has proposed three measures to increase municipal police presence, territorial control, and video surveillance within the city.
