Marsala hosts memorial event for Paolo Borsellino

The summer series “Ricordando Paolo Borsellino: come seguire il suo esempio” continues in Marsala with its third event scheduled for Friday, August 28. The meeting, held at Piazza della Vittoria 4, will focus on the theme “The Escort of Paolo Borsellino,” reflecting on the men and women who worked alongside the magistrate in the fight against organized crime.

The event will feature the presentation of the book “Cinque vite. Racconti inediti dei familiari della scorta di Paolo Borsellino” by Mari Albanese. Albanese will be joined by Dr. Rosanna Provenzano, director of the Uepe of Trapani. The gathering aims to honor the memory of Borsellino and his escort through personal testimonies, promoting values of legality, justice, and civic responsibility among the citizenry and younger generations.
