Marsala maintains top spot in Eccellenza Girone A

In the sixth round of the Eccellenza Girone A championship, league leaders Marsala secured a 2–0 victory against 90011 Bagheria with goals from Guadalupo and La Piana. Other Saturday results included Don Carlo Misilmeri defeating Parmonval 1–0, a 0–0 draw between Sancataldese and Castellammare, and a 3–2 win for Città di San Vito Lo Capo over Vigor Borgetto.

Following the win, Marsala coach Vincenzo Giannusa emphasized the need for continuity as the team continues to improve technically and tactically. Despite the recent victory, Giannusa warned that 90011 Bagheria remains a dangerous opponent. Due to weather damage at the Lombardo Angotta stadium, upcoming matches involving Marsala are scheduled to be played at the stadium in Mazara del Vallo.
