Marseille football clubs unveil new retro-style jerseys

Football clubs in Marseille are releasing new apparel that emphasizes local identity and retro aesthetics.

US Endoume has unveiled its 2026/2027 home jersey produced by Kappa. The design features a redesigned crest incorporating the silhouette of Notre-Dame de la Garde, the city's iconic basilica. The kit includes red stripes inspired by the architectural details of the basilica's nave and choir, alongside Kappa's signature 1990s-style vertical sleeve bands. Club marketing lead Julien Pacull noted the design intentionally embraces maximalism and retro styling as a counter-trend to modern minimalist logos.

Separately, Olympique de Marseille (OM) has released a new retro jersey through its partnership with Puma. The kit features a cut inspired by historical club tunics, aimed at strengthening the emotional connection between the club and its supporters. While the club faces sporting and transfer market tensions, the release of this capsule edition serves as a significant merchandising event for the Marseille-based team.
