Marseille residents denied mail delivery due to mailbox placement
Residents of the Le Bao residence in the 8th arrondissement of Marseille are being denied mail delivery services by La Poste. The issue stems from the placement of the building's mailboxes, which are located in the entrance hall 55 meters from the street.
According to La Poste, the postal connection was refused because the mailbox installation does not comply with accessibility regulations, which mandate a maximum distance of 30 meters from the street. While private delivery services and advertisers continue to access the building, approximately 150 residents remain without standard postal service.
