Marseille to host major maritime events in 2026 and 2027

Marseille is set to host significant maritime events focused on the blue economy and recreational boating. The second edition of ‘Parlons Mer’ will take place from September 23 to 26, 2026, at Grand Central. This event aims to bring together professionals, public officials, and specialists to discuss topics including maritime employment, training, port operations, environmental protection, and national defense.

Additionally, the La Provence group, in partnership with CMA Media, has announced the launch of ‘Marea Marseille – Le Grand Salon de la Mer’. Scheduled for April 6 to 11, 2027, at the Esplanade J4, this large-scale maritime fair will focus on pleasure boating and the blue economy. The event will feature four thematic areas: pleasure boating exhibitions, nautical leisure activities, a sea destination village for tourism, and an experience zone for conferences and maritime discussions.
