Marselino Ferdinan undergoes knee surgery in Spain
Indonesian national team midfielder Marselino Ferdinan has undergone knee surgery in Spain following an injury sustained during a training camp in Bali. The injury occurred while the player was preparing for the 2026 AFF Cup.
Sumardji, Chairman of the PSSI National Team Body, stated that the medical team has recommended a rehabilitation period of approximately two months. Marselino has been advised to focus entirely on his recovery and avoid returning to the pitch prematurely.
Despite the setback, Marselino expressed his determination to return to professional football and represent Indonesia again, thanking PSSI for managing his medical care.
